This report of the Palestine Strategy Group (PSG) on the Relations between Palestinians across the Green Line presents the conclusions of joint sessions and discussions held over two years between politicians, intellectuals and activists on both sides of the Green Line. It does not necessarily represent the personal opinions of each participant. The project was implemented in cooperation with the Palestinian Forum for Israeli Studies (MADAR) and Oxford Research Group. It was supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Representative Office of Norway to the Palestinian Authority (2015-17) and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (2016-17).
It is hoped that the suggested framework for strategic action presented in outline here will encourage participation by as many Palestinians as possible in helping to formulate the next decisive phase of our struggle for national self-determination, independence and achieving our historic rights.
The right of the Palestinian people to self-determination is a right enshrined in international law. By correlation so is the right of the Palestinian people to independence in the State of Palestine.
